Ashley Anne, MA, LPC
I became a therapist because I believe every person deserves to be truly heard — not analyzed, not fixed, but genuinely understood. My work is rooted in Internal Family Systems because IFS honors what I've always known: there's nothing broken about you. Every part of you formed for a reason, and healing begins when we meet those parts with curiosity instead of judgment.
My Story
Before I became a clinician, I studied fine arts. That background shaped everything about how I practice — I learned to see patterns before they're obvious, to trust intuition alongside evidence, and to hold space for the messy, beautiful complexity of being human.
My clinical training in family systems gave me the framework. IFS gave me the language. And years of sitting with people in their most tender moments gave me the conviction that therapy should never feel like being studied under a microscope. It should feel like finally being in a room with someone who gets it.
I specialize in anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, and family dynamics — and I bring IFS, somatic experiencing, and EMDR together in a way that meets each person exactly where they are. Direct when it helps. Gentle when it matters. Always human.
What I Believe
Every Part Makes Sense
Your inner critic, your anxious protector, your shut-down response — they all formed for good reasons. We don't fight them. We listen.
Healing Isn't Linear
Some days feel like breakthrough. Others feel like backsliding. Both are real. Both count. The path is never a straight line.
The Relationship Is the Therapy
The most powerful healing happens in relationship. Not in techniques or homework — in the space between two people where it's finally safe to be honest.
